La Cocina Economico (Economical Kitchen) is located on the right, just before entering Akumal's entrance archway. Often overlooked by tourists, this little restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast dishes include; eggs ranchero, eggs montuleno, omelets, fresh tortillas, pancakes, french toast and fresh juices. Lunches and dinners include; sandwiches and a variety of Mexican dishes.
